Fostering a dog
Whether it’s only for a few weeks or a few months, there are so many that need your help.
Foster Home Responsibilities
Provide for the dog's needs such as food, shelter and basic care.
Evaluate the dog's temperament.
If needed, begin teaching basic obedience commands.
If necessary, attend veterinary appointments. Sometimes we need the foster to drop off at the spay / neuter clinic when scheduled.
Talk to and meet with potential adopters.
